Description
  •       This workshop is the first activity intending to create a regular regional forum to update advances in metabolomics research and raise awareness to its broad possibilities of applications in biotechnology and health sciences. We expect to bring together experts in bioinformatics, metabolomics and researchers in other areas like agriculture & plant sciences, aquaculture and medicine, looking for synergies between these communities that can improve biotechnological applications. This workshop is part of the inauguration activities of the new Center for Proteomics and Metabolomics of BioSigma (CPMB), a metabolomic platform installed during 2011 in Chile by Biosigma and University of Chile, supported by INNOVA-Corfo. This workshop is a satellite activity of the ISCB Latin America 2012 Conference on Bioinformatics.
